Privacy & cookies

What this site processes

The public website can be visited without creating an account. Our hosting provider necessarily processes technical request data, such as IP address, browser information and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site.

Necessary storage

stc_privacy_preferences is a first-party cookie that remembers your privacy choices for six months. It is necessary to avoid asking you on every visit and does not track you across websites.

Payments & fraud prevention

Stripe is our payment provider. Stripe only loads on the donation page after you allow this optional category. Stripe may then process payment details, device information and activity data and use cookies or similar technologies to provide the embedded payment card and help detect fraud. STC does not receive your full card details.

Donation records and statistics

When a donation succeeds, Stripe sends STC a secure server-to-server notification. STC stores a minimal donation record containing the amount, currency, payment status, Stripe event and Checkout Session identifiers, Payment Link identifier and timestamps. This record is used for donation statistics and duplicate protection. The webhook does not store the donor's name, email address, IP address or card details.

Change your choice

You can change or withdraw your payment consent at any time. If you withdraw consent while Stripe is active, the page reloads so the Stripe component is removed.
